Notification of presentation (short talk or poster) and travel grant recipients: Mid-August 2025
Abstracts will be submitted to the following session/poster topics which all include human pathogenic infections with viruses, bacteria or parasites.
• Cellular Infection Systems
• Molecular Basis of Pathogenicity
• Current Methods in Molecular Infection Biology
Abstracts that are selected for presentations will be allocated to a session by the meeting organizers.
10 abstracts will be selected for short talks (15 min).
Send your abstract in English as pdf via email to: contact[at]grk2771.de
Name the file “abstract_your name” and please include in the pdf:
• Title
• Authors and Institutes
• Abstract: Max. 1400 characters including spaces (without title and authors)
• Session/ poster topic
The presenting author MUST be registered for the meeting. Oral and Poster Presentation Guidelines will be shared as the meeting approaches.
We encourage attendees to submit abstracts that have not yet been published. Those that have been published elsewhere and do not have significant new information will get low priority to be selected for an oral presentation.
Travel Grants
Travel grants of up to 500 € will be made available for active participants with oral or poster presentation.
For travel grant application please send your abstract along with your CV and short letter of motivation to contact[at]grk2771.de.
Travel grant requests will receive consideration based on the following criteria:
• Only Early Career Scientists may submit for funding consideration. An Early Career Scientist is a graduate student, or scientist/researcher with only five to six years of post-doctorate experience who does not work independently and is not the „Principal Investigator“ on grants
• Grants will be based on the score earned by the submitted abstract
• Early Career Scientists who are traveling a long distance
• Financial need of the Early Career Scientist
